Get your environment set up and configured correctly before you start coding
You have just started a new sprint, and want to get coding. You crank up Eclipse, and off you go. Well stop, a minute. Have you set up and configured your environment correctly?
Take the time to make sure things work correctly, before you start coding.
If you were a chef with dirty blunt, knives, you would not be a chef (if you have any sense of professionalism). I am constantly surprised by developers who don’t take the time to prepare, but prefer to ‘do it as we go along’.
