Griffin Powermate Applescript to control Spotify

**My Griffin Powermate has been sat on the side for too long :( **

I used to use it all the time, but since getting a Macbook, I have relied on the using the Function Keys.

Well, I was listening to an amazing piece of music, which had a great beat :) :) :) :)

I thought I want to use the Powermate to rewind the music by five seconds forwards, or backwards.

It’s not difficult. I installed the latest version the Powermate software, and opened “Script editor”. I created three files, forwards, backwards, and playpause:

You can press the Play button in the Script editor, and you will see Spotify reacting.

I then “associated” each Applscript with a backwards, forwards, and push-down event:

I made the Default (system wide events, in Powermate) work with these Applescripts.

I am now able to work in any app, and use the Powermate wheel, with the F keys :)
